Help us identify and track the significant moves among all the cultivation actions

The last couple of months have focused on management reporting and progress measures. We’ll have more to share before the end of the year when we debut several Key Performance Indicators. One of them is built around a best practice that Humane Society of the United States has adopted.  They recognized that tracking all cultivation actions is valuable, but they also wanted a way to differentiate those actions that were significant toward moving the donors to commit to a gift. How do they do it? They use the Important Note check box to make that distinction.

This checkbox is a data point on a Cultivation Activity note, so it is easy to fashion a report to either summarize the count of significant moves or to report the detail content of these important notes.
