Chief Technology Officer
As co-founder of ROI Solutions, Bill Shoger designed, developed and implemented the original Revolution system, Classic ROI. Currently, he is overseeing the design and implementation of ROI’S new Revolution Online web-based system.
Bill has been in the computer industry for 30 years, the last fifteen working exclusively with non-profits. In 1990, he joined Council for Advancement of Studies and Education (CASE), a non-profit organization. His main tasks were setting up computer operations procedures and processes to integrate their Fundraising, Major Donor, Alumni, Conferences and Accounting software packages. At the time, CASE had lost most of their essential personnel and Bill worked endlessly with all departments to keep their systems and organization functioning. He joined General Systems Corporation in 1992 and helped develop, design and implement their WinFunds fundraising package. He was one of the first programmers to develop true householding techniques in a relational database. This resulted in one of the first commercially available client-server applications (developed for the Human Rights Campaign). Bill also provided account management for most of their major clients, including Human Rights Campaign and Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC).
