Reports Menu
In the Revolution Online Reports Menu, you’ll see an array of standard reports along with the various reports that have been developed for your organization’s specific needs. All you have to do is select the report you want, enter your parameters, and hit “run.” It’s that simple. You don’t need to call us or rely on your IT department to run these reports for you.
Third-Party Query Tools
Due to the open design of Revolution Online, you can connect to your database using many third-party query applications such as Sybase’s InfoMaker or Seagate’s Crystal Reports.
Using an ODBC connection, these third-party tools can connect directly to the backend database and allow the end-user the ability to query and report against any field. All queries can be saved for future use and shared among users.
ODBC Compliant
Because Revolution is ODBC compliant, you can connect other ODBC-compliant applications (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access) directly to your database. For example, you can run queries and export the data directly to an Excel spreadsheet. You can run mail merges directly from your word processing application.
The ROI QueryTool
The Revolution Online QueryTool is an embedded query-execution screen that lets you design and execute SQL queries directly within the application. Using a wizard-driven approach, the QueryTool makes it easy to perform complex queries. You can identify multiple criteria for which rows to include, which columns to display, and which records to count. In an effort to simplify the process and in order to actively help you understand your data, Revolution Online also contains tools that provide complete, user-accessible schema documentation including all tables, views, fields and functions.

If you prefer not to create queries or upload data through the application, ROI Solutions will do it for you. Our expert data administrators provide backend data pulls, segmentation, source-code assignments and much more for many of our clients. These services are developed specifically around each client’s business rules and can be set up through our Oracle Enterprise Manager to run any time, automatically. Based on your criteria, we will produce and deliver results to you in your preferred format through our extensive Data Services Department.
