Data Services Manager
John McCarthy joined us in November 2004. As Data Services Manager at ROI, John supervises the data services staff, manages workloads, establishes and maintains best practices, handles data output requests, and consults with clients to solve data issues.
Prior to joining us, John worked in the publishing field for many years, first as a technical writer at Course Technology in Cambridge, MA, and later at Hearst Publishing's Country Living Gardener magazine. Most recently, John worked in the Higher Education Publishing Division of John Wiley & Sons as a web developer and project manager. At Wiley, John was involved in the redesign of the Higher Education Division's web site and the development of various web-based educational products. John has also developed a number of boutique web sites for small business including graphic design, layout, and database design and administration.
