Oracle Database Administrator
Elaine Daley joined ROI as the Oracle DBA in March 2007 after working at Oracle Corporation in Burlington, MA for the past nine years.
Elaine brings years of experience working as a Senior QA Engineer and Senior Support Analyst. Most recently she spent seven years working as a Senior QA Engineer in the Business Intelligence Tools group. Prior to that, as a Senior Support Analyst and team lead for the Oracle Express Server group, she learned about the inner workings of the multi-dimensional database on multiple platforms.
She has worked with multiple Oracle products within the Oracle Business Intelligence stack including JDeveloper, Discoverer, Reports, OLAP PDS and the BIBeans Components, Oracle Application Server, and Oracle Database Server. She was responsible for installing and maintaining all the lab machines running various versions of the Oracle Application Servers and Oracle databases which were used globally by Oracle employees.
Prior to working at Oracle Corporation, Elaine worked for the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs as a GIS Project Manager under the division of MASSGIS. Here she gained knowledge of mapping software and data collection as she worked on the Massachusetts Open Space Mapping Project. She contributed maps to a publication produced by MASS Coastal Zone Management detailing public access points to beaches along the coast of Massachusetts.
As the database administrator, Elaine's role is crucial in providing seamless availability and access for ROI clients, Data Analysts, and Account Managers. Elaine continues to stay up-to-date on the latest Oracle products and features, evaluating the possible benefits that they can bring to ROI and ROI clients.
