Oops - do you need to update the address status?

Have you ever corrected an address only to forget to change the address status from "Bad Address," or whatever other status it may have been?  We made a subtle change to be sure that doesn't happen unless you want it to... now, if you change an address we'll highlight the "Address Status" field (see below) as a little nudge to remind you to double-check that it is what it should be.

New Search Option

You can now search by County FIPS .  Once you add " county fips " to your search selections, you'll see the "open popup" image nearby.

 You will see a window with a "filter by state" drop down box in the upper right corner.  Once you select a state, you will get a list of counties.

After you click on the desired county, the FIPS number is copied back into the search screen.  Search and voila!:

In addition to searching by County FIPS , you will now also see " county fips ," "latitude," "longitude," "cbsa," and "cbsa div" on the long form address display of a user account.

These are read-only fields, so if you are in edit mode, your screen will look something like this:

Did You Know? 

If you enter a City and State but no ZIP code and then click the "FIND" button, Revolution On-Line will go and look up the ZIP codes in that city.  If there is only one, the application will fill it in automatically.  If there are more than one, the first six will be displayed and you can pick the right one.
