Introducing Dashboard
Let's start with a handy
definition to answer the inevitable question, "what is
dashboard?"
dash·board [dash-bawrd, -bohrd]
-noun
- in ROI's Revolution On-Line -- a
business management tool used to visually ascertain the status (or
"health") of an enterprise via key indicators. This
digital dashboard uses visual, at-a-glance displays of data to
provide summaries of business conditions and also track metrics and
key performance indicators.
To set
up your own personal dashboard (yup, you get your very own), click on the
tools tab. You can click on "options" in the upper right
hand corner to select your page layout, shown below.
Now you
can get started customizing your dashboard by selecting options on each
of the widgets that look like this:
After you click on the options command, you can choose from
a variety of performance metrics, counts, and other interesting
information to display in that space anytime you come to the Tools
tab. It's a great way to stay up on recent donations, compare top
campaigns, keep up to date on membership counts, etc.

No geography games here, just a
simple way to find an address: click "get map!"
You might have noticed a new icon next to an address that says "get
map." Click it and a static map of the given street address will
load right inside the window, as pictured below.
That's where the ROI office is! Drop in to see us sometime (but no,
Betty Rubble and Fred Flintstone no longer reside here... someone set
that to "bad address" please.)
